Where we come from (spoiler, not outer space)
Plan 9 From Outer Space is a cult sci-fi film from 1957 starring Bela Lugosi which inspired the 1994 film Ed Wood starring Johnny Depp.
Whilst struggling to name our new company in 2000 someone suggested Plan 9 and the rest, as they say, is history.
Prior to founding Plan 9, Dan Evans was technical director at Ogilvy Interactive, working on a host of award-winning websites for Number 10 Downing Street, The Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Kia Cars & Amnesty International. This was back in the late 1990s when The Web was in version 1.0 and very much a new thing.

From our early days as a one-man-band operation, we've grown into a dynamic independent web development agency. Around us orbits a brilliant array of talent from coders & programmers, designers, SEO gurus, marketeers and more. We utilise a wide network of great people in Greece, the USA and India.
